At Timberland Acres, finding the right home for each puppy means everything to us. Our adoption process isn’t just about matching you with a puppy — it’s about making sure that every Cavapoo joins a family where they’ll be loved, understood, and cherished for life. We take the time to get to know you, answer your questions, and guide you through every step, so that when your puppy comes home, it’s truly a perfect fit for both of you.
How the adoption process works

If you’re interested in adopting one of our puppies, start by reaching out through our contact form. Next, we’ll schedule a quick phone call to get to know each other and answer any questions.
After our chat, you’ll receive a puppy workbook with a short questionnaire, space to note your puppy preferences, photos, and helpful details about the adoption process, contract, and health coverage.

The puppies
are born!
When your turn on the waitlist arrives, we’ll check in to make sure you’re ready to choose from the upcoming litter. If you are, you’ll be added to a private group where we share updates, photos, and videos as the puppies grow.

Welcome home your new puppy
At 8 weeks old, your puppy will be ready to come home and start their new adventure with you! Families are welcome to pick up their puppy in person, or we can arrange safe delivery for an additional fee if needed.

Secure your place on the waitlist
After approval, a $500 non-refundable deposit will officially hold your place on our waitlist. We work on a first-come, first-served basis once puppies arrive. Though deposits aren’t refundable, they can be moved to a future litter if your timing changes.
04.
Choose your puppy
When the litter reaches about four weeks old, it’s time to make your choice! Puppy selection follows the order in which deposits were received, and at this stage, an additional $500 deposit is required to reserve your puppy.

Our relationship doesn’t end when your puppy goes home, it’s just the beginning! We love staying connected with our fur families and watching our puppies grow in their new homes. Once you’re part of the Timberland Acres family, you’re always part of our community.
